Record the special moments before they disappear
There are a number of reasons why a parent might keep a journal of their child playing sports. Some possible reasons include:
- To track progress: A journal can be a great way for a parent to keep track of their child’s progress over time. By writing down observations about their child’s performance and any improvements they see, a parent can get a better sense of how their child is doing and what areas they might need to work on.
- To communicate with coaches: If the child is on a team, the parent may want to keep a journal to share with the coach. This can help the coach understand the child’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as any areas they might need to work on.
- For personal reflection: A journal can also be a useful tool for a parent to reflect on their own feelings and thoughts about their child’s sports experience. By writing down their observations and feelings, a parent can get a better sense of their own perspective on their child’s sports journey.
- To create a record: A journal can also be a way for a parent to create a record of their child’s sports experiences that they can look back on in the future. This can be a nice way to remember and reflect on all the hard work and dedication that went into their child’s sports career.
